IBM Rolls Out STEM Programme For Girls

Brinda Sarkar: The programme involves a yearlong engagement at school with girls focused on cognitive curriculum, computing and mentoring, said Rumi Mitra, country lead of IBM Corporate Citizenship.

Technology major IBM is looking to bridge the gap in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) education for girls by rolling out a programme this June, which is expected to reach 4,000 secondary school students over the next year.
